22 - 27 June 2006 Father Christopher Hardy ran the annual ecumenical
pilgrimage staying with the Benedictine Sisters at the Sacré Coeur
established by Geoffrey Wright, late Secretary of the Catholic League, as an
important part of its work for spiritual ecumenism, until June 2006. Unfortunately, the pilgrimage has been
discontinued for the time being, but it may be possible to restore it in the future. In the meantime, the
League thanks Fr Christopher for his dedication in maintaining the pilgrimage. In 2006 the speaker was Fr Leslie Drake, vicar of St Luke's, Clay Hill, Enfield. The
pilgrims shared in the beautiful worship and music of the sisters in their
noviciate house, and benefiting from opportunity to share in the Eucharist both
in the Roman Catholic and Anglican traditions as well as to visit the various religious sites in Paris.Pilgrimage, the Journey to Christian Unity
